Intent The interface should enforce that distinct objects and distinct actions have unspoofably identifiable and distinguishable representations.
Motivation The ability to identify objects and actions is the first step in proper communication of intent. When identity is threatened, either by inadvertent collision or by intentional masquerading, the user is vulnerable to error.
